Keys that are supplied to us for use when pet or house minding will have a K9 Walkers tag attached to them, which lists K9 Walkers name, phone number and a non-identifying number only.
There is no information on the tag that identifies the address.
Your pet's health and safety is very important to K9 Walkers. We will have your contact numbers as well as your veterinary contact details with us.
If your pet becomes ill or is injured, we will contact you.
If it is thought your pet requires veterinary assistance, we will contact your preferred vet (otherwise another vet will be called). This will be done even if we are yet to make contact with you (permission to do so is requested in our booking form).
K9 Walkers will still walk or provide playtime for your dog whether it is raining or hot. However, we will exercise our judgement to determine what is appropriate given the circumstances, as our priority is your dog's health and safety.
On rainy days we will dry off your dog at the end of our visit.
Walks or playtimes may sometimes be shortened, cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions.
